The Manufactured Concrete Products Exposition (MCPX) will bring about 6000 producers, suppliers, engineers, and other industry leaders to the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Fla., on Feb. 22 – 24. The 250,000-sq-ft exhibition area will feature abut 400 suppliers displaying thousands of products, a working concrete lab showing the latest technical knowledge in action, and demonstrations on ergonomics in rebar tying, dust and noise control, and fresh concrete testing and procedures.<\/p>\r

The five sponsoring associations will present dozens of industry-specific educational courses. The National Concrete Masonry Association portion of the educational docket will include programs on concrete masonry research, military construction, understanding alternative construction systems, and concrete masonry’s role in the sustainable building movement.<\/p>\r

NCMA also will hold its annual meeting in conjunction with MCPX. Numerous committee meetings, several working meals, tours of Prestige AB Block and Paver Systems LLC, and visits to local Orlando attractions are on the schedule.<\/p>\r

The other four sponsoring organizations are the National Precast Concrete Association, Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute, American Concrete Pipe Association, and Precast\/Prestressed Concrete Institute.<\/p>\r
