These three specific recommendations were made: (1) Use temporary heaters which do not allow combustion gases to contaminate the air. (2) If unvented heaters must be used, protect the concrete with membrane curing, making sure that the surface is completely sealed. Burlap, for example, may not provide sufficient protection against carbonation.
