This project features a unique and contemporary design with various uses of polished concrete. The barbecue countertops were poured-in-place concrete with hand-seeded tumbled recycled glass connected to fiber optic cables and a sparkle wheel.
Upon curing, the countertops were then ground and polished, resulting is a unique outdoor kitchen. The table in the pool is also fabricated with polished glass and abalone shell embedded into the concrete. The pool coping is polished concrete with recycled blue glass chips from artistic pavers. The contractor, Green Scene Landscaping & Pools, included polished concrete plank pavers to complete the yard.
