Crews constructing the Florida State University Basketball Practice Facility In Tallahassee rivaled the home-team Seminoles in executing an intricate play-by-play that epitomized teamwork. The project was a complicated structure of cast-in-place concrete and load-bearing masonry.

The $10 million facility with a $640,000 masonry contract includes 18,000 square feet of practice courts and 25,000 square feet of office space. The façade is a study in concrete and masonry, using utility brick walls, cast stone panels around the top of the building and the door, and exposed concrete columns every 30 feet and at the corners. In all, the structure used 82,000 brick and 52,000 block.
