- What can be done to be sure that tile will bond well to the finished concrete?
- Curing with sheet membranes, waterproof paper or wet burlap will produce a surface to which tile should bond readily, provided the concrete is dry and clean at the time the tile is put down. Some spray-applied curing compounds prevent bonding of tile to the floor while others do not. This should be determined ahead of time by tests or by manufacturer’s warranty.
