Size of building/project: 3,000 square feet backyard
Our design team was commissioned to design and build a family fun backyard within the requirements of the clients, Feng Shu Master. The Master required that water spill toward the home from a height of 3 feet above the house foundation, and that fire (cooking area) and water (pool/spa) not cross paths.
The innovative solution was to design and build a reverse infinity edge pool with a raised spa waterfall and offset swim up bar/kitchen.
The tri-level kitchen counters were cast in place of ivory-colored concrete that was hand-seeded with aggregates and Abalone sea shell. The pool and spa coping were cast and polished to match the counters.
